DFW Disc Dog Club Policies

Mission:

The primary goal of the DFW Disc Dog Club is to promote and engage in the sport of disc dog among enthusiasts in the DFW metroplex of North Texas including Dallas, Fort Worth, and the entire North Texas region. Our purpose is to practice, perform, promote, educate, and compete in disc dog activities. Our members desire a positive, fun, supportive, shared learning experience, and competitive environment to engage in disc dog activity among ourselves and in demonstration to community audiences.

All DFW Disc Dog Club (DDDC) events and activities are managed under the following policies:

  • Leash Policy:

    • Dogs must be leashed, crated, or tethered unless actively competing or practicing in the designated practice area.

  • Potty accidents:

    • We have been seeing an increase of potty accidents on the field. Going forward, if a handler has 3 potty accidents on the field in one day (one dog or multiple dogs), we will ask that you refrain from running for the rest of the day.
